The Queen’s Company is a NYC based nonprofit theatre company dedicated to creating inventive productions of classical plays featuring all-female casts. Our critically acclaimed productions and workshops are known for their exquisite use of language, bold physicality, creative storytelling and artistic playfulness. Founded in 2000 by a company of actors and a director, we are part of the movement toward more creative and inclusive casting practices that challenge gender norms and unconscious bias.

We gratefully acknowledge we work and create on the traditional lands of the Lenape, and acknowledge our commitment to transforming the complex legacy of systemic injustice through anti-racism.
